Intel Matrix Storage Manager is a divice that provides support for SATA (serial ata) raid 5 arrays and sata raid 10 arrays. Intel Matrix Storage Manager provides support on Intel 4 series, 3 series, 965, 975x, 955x and 945 chipset boards.

Intel Matrix Storage Manager also provides support for Intel Rapid Recovery Tecnology, AHCI Native Command Queuing for increased performance.Matrix Raid for  two RAID volumes on a single array, and an improved user interface for enhanced usability. This is software that enables Intel Matrix Technology.
